Type 1 Surge Protection Devices provide input protection for plants in areas with high levels of lightning strikes, and are typically installed in main distribution switchboards to protect against direct lightning strikes. In order to ensure optimum protection, Type 1 Surge Protection Devices discharge very high currents to earth, providing the best possible peak voltage protection (Up) to the installation. Three Phase Class 1 SPD Surge Protection Feature:
